CHANDIGARH: There’s great news in store for at least 1.5 lakh yellow card holders from below poverty line in city! A policy under Centre’s National Health Insurance Scheme has been introduced for them to get health insurance cover of Rs 30,000 by paying just Rs 30. Using a smart card, patients will be able to avail of free treatment in government hospitals and transport facilities.With camps being planned at government schools in different slums and villages to help BPL families get the smart card, a UT official said, “Against Rs 30 a year, they will get an insurance cover of Rs 30,000. The smart card will enable members to avail of cashless facilities in government hospitals and dispensaries across the city. The health department will also provide free transport facilities to patients.” BPL families from Hallomajra, Khudda Jassu, Khudda Lahora, Dhanas, Sarangpur, Burail and Behlana villages and sectors 53, 52, 56, 41, 47 and 55 have reportedly been asked to
